Information MileCharge processes
MileCharge processes information necessary to calculate distance-based travel charges for bookings. This may include the business postcode, booking or checkout information supplied by the site, and customer location/address information required to calculate travel distance.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide MileCharge functionality, including calculating road distance, applying configured travel-pricing rules, adding the resulting Travel charge to checkout, operating security and abuse-prevention controls, and diagnosing service failures.
Third-party services
MileCharge operates within the Wix platform and may use Google Maps Platform/Routes services to calculate road distance. MileCharge also uses infrastructure services for operational metering and abuse prevention.
Data minimisation
MileCharge is designed to minimise stored personal information. Operational metering does not intentionally store customer names, addresses, postcodes, booking identifiers, checkout identifiers, route content or provider credentials.
Data sharing
Information is not sold to advertisers. Information is shared only with service providers where necessary to operate MileCharge or where required by law.
Security
MileCharge uses access controls, tenant isolation, server-side credentials and usage controls designed to protect information processed by the app.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legitimate operational requirements, resolve incidents or comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
Individuals may have rights under applicable data-protection law, including rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal information.
